Welcome to our large self catering 6 berth holiday chalet in Cornwall. Just a short drive from Padstow and Newquay and near the beaches along the North Cornwall coast. Situated in 27 acres of parkland at Point Curlew Holiday Park. The site is surrounded by open countryside but is only a five minute drive from the glorious sandy beaches along the North Cornish Coast. Perfect for a seaside family holiday or an action holiday taking part in Surfing, Horse Riding, Golf, Sea Fishing or long walks in the beautiful countryside.
Point Curlew is situated near the village of St Merryn which has a couple of Mini Supermarkets, a Fish and Chip Shop, a Chinese Takeaway and a very nice pub, tea rooms and restaurants.
Please note the site is under new ownership and the facilities in the touring park area and the amenity centre are currently closed for improvement, the touring park and amenity centre are situated well away from our chalet and the work should not affect the enjoyment of your holiday. The new owners also reserve the right to withdraw any of the site facilities during refurbishment.
St Merryn is approximately 4 miles from Padstow with numerous pubs and restaurants Including Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant and his excellent fish and chip shop. Padstow also has many shops and boat trips and fishing trips can be booked at the quayside.
In the opposite direction lies Newquay with its vibrant night life, pubs, clubs, restaurants and shops as well as excellent beaches and surfing. Zoo and Aquarium. On the way to Newquay from St Merryn you will drive through Watergate Bay where Jamie Oliver has one of his 17 restaurants on the beach.
Near St Merryn there are Cornwalls famous 7 Bays for Seven days being Porthcothan Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Constantine Bay, Booby's Bay, Mother Iveys Bay, Harlyn Bay and Trevone Bay all with safe sandy beaches and rock pools for the children to explore.
There are many attractions within a short drive including the Eden Project, The lost Gardens of Heligan, Birds of Prey Sanctuary, Flambards Theme Park, Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre, and much more.
